POULAIN MUSEUM :
The Museum has been open since 1983 in an old mansion. This house with 15
th century wooden panels
and its 17 th and 18 th century extensions belonged to the Le Moine de Bellisle
family whose coat of armes
can still be seen in the monumental stair case.
This Museum houses collections of fine arts and local history. It is one of
the rare french Museums
specialised in animal art with sculptures by BUGATTI, SANDOZ, POMPON, DE MONARD,
paintings by H. VERNET, Th.-A. STEINLEN, P. JOUVE,...
In the drawing room, we can discover the donation of works by R. NOIR
and Th.-A. STEINLEN (3rd collection in France).
